Angka / Numbers / 號碼

Bahasa Korea mempunyai dua sistem angka untuk berhitung, yaitu sistem angka Cina dan Korea. Sistem angka Cina biasanya digunakan untuk menyebut bulan, hari, nomor, uang, porsi, minggu, lantai, tahun, dan menit. Sistem angka Korea digunakan untuk menyebut jam, ekor, orang, umur, dan satuan barang.

Korean has two number system for counting, the system of Chinese and Korean figures. Chinese number system is usually used to refer to the month, day, number, money, share, weeks, flooring, year, and minutes. Korean number system is used to refer to the clock, tail, man, age, and the units of goods.

Untuk pengucapan atau penulisan angka Korea sesudah 열 atau 10, kita tinggal menambahkan kata 열, 스물, dst dengan angka 하나, 둘, dst sampai 아홉.
Contoh:
+ 하나/  = 열하나 / 열한 (11)
스물 + / = 스물둘 / 스물두 (22)
서른 + 셋/세 =   서른셋 / 서른세 (33)
마흔 + 넷/네 =  마흔넷 /  마흔(44)
untuk contoh 11-44, hana bisa diucapkan menjadi han, dul menjadi du, set menjadi se, net menjadi ne.

Untuk cara pengucapan atau penulisan  백,  천,  만,  십만, dst, menggunakan sistem angka China dengan cth sbb:
오백 = 500
구백 = 900
삼천 = 3000
팔천 = 8000
이십만 = 20,000
dst...

Contoh jika ingin mengucapkan tahun 1999:
일천구백구십구 년 (yi cheon gu baek gu sib gu nyeon)
kata   yang berati 1 bisa kita cantumkan atau kita hilangkan. Kebanyakan pengucap cukup mengatakan  천구백구십구 년 (cheon gu baek gu sib gu nyeon) saja.

Contoh lainnya yaitu tahun 1983. Mungkin kalian mendengar Lee Min Ho atau pemain lainnya mengucapkan tahun ini di Drama City Hunter. Nah, admin memberikan contoh ini agar kalian mengerti ^^
Cara baca atau tulisnya: 천구백팔십삼 년 (cheon gu baek phal sib sam nyeon). Nyeon nya jangan dilupakan ya apabila mengucapkan tahun.
